Ladies and Gentleman enjoy trips out to Crosby and Southport
Ladies and gentlemen living at Stocks Hall Mawdesley Home have made the most of the Summer sunshine, enjoying trips out on the Stocks Hall Mawdesley minibus.
This week a small group visited the seaside resort of Southport. Activities Staff, Joanne says “It’s been another great afternoon out in sunny Southport! The sun was shining, the music was playing and our ladies were up dancing. Everyone’s had a great time and we’re already planning our next trip there.”
Another set of ladies and gentlemen visited the costal town of Crosby, where they enjoyed lunch on the marina, before walking along the beach to view the famous ‘Iron Men’. These are collectively known as ‘Another Place’, a piece of modern sculpture by Sir Anthony Gormley, located at Crosby Beach in Liverpool, which consists of 100 cast iron figures facing towards the sea.
The group enjoyed the view and sea air while soaking up the sunshine and indulging in an ice cream. Activities Staff, Jordan says “We have definitely made the most of these glorious sunny days, getting out and about, whilst enjoying each other’s company.”
