What can I say - I genuinely like it here. Every day there is something to do and the staff are very funny, they make me laugh every single day

When my husband went to Stocks Hall, I didn't have a choice as it was the only place suitable for his needs. I was concerned that a lot of the staff were quite young, but I was wrong. All the staff are marvelous, nothing is too much trouble and the interaction with all residents is wonderful. They keep the family informed at all times. My husband is always clean, well dressed and fed well. The only other place I would rather him be than Stocks Hall is at home

I am just writing to say how very grateful I was to you personally and your amazing team at Stocks Hall.  Although my father was only with you for a week and 3 days I know he had fitted in quickly and was remembering names of the staff that were caring for him, I know he was happy enough not to want to leave.  The nursing home is a fantastic place I will never forget, having observed and learnt much in a short space of time. I appreciated your hands-on approach to everything leading by example. He was especially fond of Billy and Barry who both have a natural gift for this type of work, like many of the team there. In his last days of life, I had felt a weight had been lifted after the stress of watching my Mum looking after Him and supporting him for nearly 7 years. I know you and your team will continue with supporting future families over the coming years in this unique nursing home. I will continue to spread the word of this quality nursing home. RB & family

The word "Home" filled me with dread when the time came for my sister to go into care. I looked around at many and then found Stocks Hall in St Helens. The first impression as I went through the doors was extremely good. It was suggested my sister go in for a week or so to see if she settled in - it didn't even take a week, she settled in straight away. Now this is her "home" - the word says it all. She is extremely happy and we consider the staff as our extended family. You can go there anytime, and I do mean anytime of the night or day, you will find the staff helpful, friendly and always there to listen. I could not recommend this home highly enough. It is always clean, tidy and fresh smelling. There are many activities and trips out - she has even been on holiday in adapted accommodation, Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Since my daughter has been in Stocks Hall her quality of life has improved greatly. All of the staff are very welcoming and treat everyone as friends, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, lots of activities, outings, clubs and celebrations. Stocks Hall has turned my daughter’s life around, I as a mother am happy that I chose Stocks Hall, it is second to none. Highly recommended. A BIG THANK YOU TO THEM!

Stocks Hall staff are very caring and supportive, they treat my husband so well - he always looks relaxed. The atmosphere in the home is so homely and comfortable, there is always lots going on; barbecues, entertainment, going out and visiting loads of different places.
