Fair Weather Gardening

The spell of good weather has certainly been getting everyone at Mawdesley out into the garden, with minds turning to all things bedding plants and blooms!

Norma and Janet who live with us here, enjoyed getting their hands dirty and planted some bedding plants, arranging the flower beds and preparing for what will eventually, hopefully, be a glorious Summer display at the Home.

We also enjoyed a trip out to Bents Grden Centre to obtain plants, fruit and veg as well as – and obviously as important as – a supply of sweets and chocolate treats.  Whilst there, it would obviously have been rude not to sample the delights available in the restaurant too!!!

The Botanical Gardens in Southport was another venue, taking full advantage of the chance to enjoy ice-creams in the sunshine.
